I'm a college football fan and bowl fan so I've watched some of many games. i have friends working some of the games too so that helps. One guy I worked with a few years ago has moved his way up to the SEC and is working the Alamo Bowl tonight. An Indy friend of mine is working the Pop-Tarts Bowl with K-State tonight as well (B1G crew). But with so many players opting out for various reasons it's hard to care too much if they don't care. But I don't know any of the players in these earlier games so I have no idea who is missing.
I don't work between Christmas & New Years so I binge on bowl games! What a crappy feeling after the last one is over. LOL
With all the players opting out and the P5 moves and expanded playoff, it will be interesting to see if the G5 will create their own playoff. I’d be much more likely to watch that. Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of meaningless bowl games. I’ve never liked them.

I still love watching them, but all of the opt outs tells you how important these games are.
I can't remember which game it was, but I really appreciated the announcers talking up the players declaring for the draft and still playing in the Bowl games, basically saying the ones that decided to not play were quitting on their team mates and the NFL coaches should take note of which players did what.
I think these games are important to the ones out there playing!
