Who's watching Bowl games?

The issue is what could have been a close game in that case ends up being a 41-10 game because one team is very depleted. So far most of the games with several departures had equal numbers so they were still fairly even resulting in exciting games.

Happened to FSU today, getting destroyed by UGA. 49-3 in 3rd qtr. They have 16 starters out.
Honestly, a lot of Bowl games are becoming a joke/exhibition because of all this. Portal + NIL is ruining the sport.

Transfer portal killed this sport. Watching top ten teams last two nights is worse than watching paint dry.

Hopefully expanding the playoff will help but likely not much. “Bowl season” will never recover from this shit.

Policy needs to be that the season isn't over until final game has been played. Portal should not open until championship game has been played.

Agree and disagree. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for players to start the new semester at their new home.

Personally feel that it should just be opened in February, and schools can claw back any financial aid upon a player entering the portal.

I agree, have a clause in the NIL deals binding players to play. If your not currently receiving NIL money you would be free to vacate your position.

Bottom line it is all about viewership. If fans quit watching bowl games there will be alot less money going into the schools.

I gotta say that I really like the announcers and the irreverent atmosphere of this Arizona bowl.
More entertaining. It's like if they are having fun it is more fun for us too, and they are certainly having fun!

Kids knowing they’re entering would still sit out to avoid injury. No different than people entering the draft.
