I cannot fathom why one would opt out when playing for the championship?

Having a hard time getting interested in this Clemson Kentucky game.

Looking forward to the Beavers/Irish and Ohio St/Mizzou games though.

I must be an outlier, but the poptart thing made me hate worthless bowl games more.

You're not an outlier. I've watched only 1 bowl game this year. Why watch a game played by backups in most cases? Why play the bowl games at all? Maybe there should be some $$ incentive for the players participating in the bowl game. Certain $ for the winner, certain $ for the loser. Maybe that will entice some of these guys to keep out of the portal until then, but probably not..

I don't know, but money caused this problem, I don't think throwing more money away will fix it. It never works for our government anyway. (yet they never learn that lesson)

There have been some pretty good games. Very entertaining. Cant say the same for the majority of the crews in the booth with their endless prattle. Not to mention the moronic "how does that make you feel" from every mindless sideline talking head.
