Would be an instant upgrade...and I would hope that TP knowing who we have coming in, and the opportunity to develop those kids into the next Volson or Mauch, would push him into bringing in an actual o-line coach.

Not defending Larson as OL coach with this post, just saying that it's not uncommon for coaches to serve at many different positions over their careers. I'll cite a few examples of some well known coaches as well as some with Bison ties.

Urban Meyer has been a position coach as DB/LB/WR/QB

Tommy Bowden. DB/RB/TE/QB/WR

Kirby Smart has been a position coach on opposite sides as well. DB and RB

Ex Bison HC Don Morton coached both RBs and OL.

Current coach TP has coached the following positions. WR/TE/RB/ST/DB/QB and OL at Big Ten Iowa. No experience before as OL position coach.

Just a few examples to show that it is not unheard of for all those who call for a "real OL coach"

Apparently no one wants him as a HC, so I guess we can all bitch about his 15 QB runs per game next year with Cam.
