As in destroying your libido? A known adverse effect of Finasteride and Dutasteride is erectile disfunction, a lowering of libido and/or failure to ejaculate, and in some cases the adverse effects can be extreme and permanent. Docs prescribe that shit way too cavalierly and many men don't research the side effects before taking it.

No problem with erections. Failure of orgasm was my issue. Having a real good time then when it was time for the happy moment it just said NO. And that was it.
So we opted for the TURP with the Green Light laser.
We initial started out with Flowmax and that worked pretty good for awhile. May be a year. The next step was finasteride or the surgery; Chose the drug. It worked but the side effects made it a not long term solution.
