Boosters seemed to like Heckendorf based on photos, so don't think they would have made a better decision on their own.
They may have vetoed TR and pushed for change though. Perhaps this was a compromise. New coach with some Bison tradition.

Not sure if the real inside baseball on this hire will leak, so total speculation.
Just hope the end result is what we all want, and we get back to Frisco soon.
