The more I think about it the more I'm convinced if we would have committed to the run more early and stuck with it we could have won this game fairly easily. The defense was playing well and you're less likely to get false starts if you're not standing in the shotgun trying to change the play.

Stay in the game and give the Oline time to grind on the Grizz D.

Sort of like we did it for years when we were rattling off nattys.

I'm hopeful Polasek gets back to more under center.

All that said, I do like our ability to pass more but in this game at least, I would have saved more of that for just 3rd down. 13 had a hell of a season though, especially lately.

Fire the coaching staff and hire 5-6 guys from bisonville we will be undefeated. They have never lost a game

CAS as HC, EZQB as OC, SD as AD, TAB as uniform coordinator (but really it will be Mrs TAB, she wears the pants in that family and we all know it), PL as DC, Scottie as supplement provider? Longhorn as official Wolf Shirt consultant.

Maybe Indy can comment on this. On the punt NDSU was flagged for roughing the punter, it is my understanding that a rugby still punter once outside the tackle box is not allow protection since it could be a fake punt. Now unless he was still in the box I am not fully sure. It really does not matter now. It was a heck of a game and the boys really played their butts off the last several weeks of the season. To lose in double overtime in a semi-final game with the road schedule we had to play was a incredible feat. No I am not into moral victories. But still more than proud of the team.

As much as Entz and Roehl have taken heat the last couple years (and rightfully so) the front 7 of our defense the last couple years has not been good enough

That was meant to be purple. The play by those units have been really atrocious since he took over. My point was people believe that since they were great BISON players they are great coaches AND NFL players.

I don't usually show much emotion when NDSU is playing... but I was going to throw my remote through the TV if NDSU actually punted pm 4th and 5 with under 4 minutes to play.

Say what you will about NDSU coaching, but we all would have lost our damn minds if we were in Montana's position and didn't defend against the fake.
