Roehl was able to pull his head out of his ass late but it was ultimately that Southern Illinois Defense in the OT's that cost us. Too bad it may cost Roehl the HC gig but the bright side is we definetly will get a new DC that had a clue and knows Defense. Great season Bison! It was a a good run for a huge down year. Way to fight through adversity and poor coaching at times. Just can't have 10 penalties most critically on 3rd and shorts. Way to battle, proud of thr fellas!

NDSU didn't do enough of it today.

And I thought, the way the defense was playing that they'd stop Montana in OT. They had two chances and didn't even come close. But I liked what I saw from the defense anyway.

A lot of stupid penalties again.

Was there only one option on the play? Like...what was our backup plan if that was covered? I'd rather have any of the QBs have to throw to a covered receiver.

Baffling play call but also my word the defensive player dragged him down. Arms extended.

Perfect encapsulation of the game…baffling play calling and poor reffing.

The reffing had nothing to do with that loss. Six false starts and poor execution lost that game. Over throwing three wide open receivers that would have walked in for TDs lost that game.
