I’ll take it a step further from someone I spoke with. He interviewed in the morning yesterday and at least through end of day yesterday he was the ONLY person who has been interviewed.

I was told that "as of last night no one had flown in to interview in person". So had he flown in yesterday for an interview today, then that statement would have been false.

That statement doesn't exclude potential zoom interviews, but I, personally, think it excludes Brewster.

But by all means believe what you want to believe, I am just relaying what I was told.
