The answer is both. They move up to better jobs which also comes with more money. How many coaches jump from fcs to one of the top tier fbs head coaches? It doesn’t happen. And yes the fb is much different the more you move up.

The most impressive move I can think of is Klieman and even that you couldn’t really consider “top tier fbs”…

    So then answer me this:
1 - why do coaches move down?
2 - for the bolded statement - the field is the same size, the rules are the same, they use the same equipment etc. As far as coaching it goes, what is the different part?

Also, the pro-Polasek crowd - if he is such a good HC candidate then why is he not the HC at Wyo today?
    Don't believe everything you think.

I’m not saying polasek is the guy either. My point has been that a lot of the people calling for roehl to be fired for years are now saying he’s a slam dunk hire. What top tier coaches have moved down? I don’t see coordinators in the P5 moving to fcs do you? Proving to be a hc at ndsu can improve your resume vs being oc at wyoming

Hard to be a HC if you don't know what a screen pass is.
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.

Does this next drive define Roehl's claim as head coach?

If Roehl does get named head coach then ML needs to be fired. Not for hiring Roehl but for not making the announcement on Thursday.
