My bad. I meant it not from a rules standpoint, but how it would affect the team. I cannot imagine it would be a positive environment if TR did not get the job. Could he remain focused? If it is an outside hire, I would say it comes after the Montana game.

Exactly who I wanted as my HC, a guy that can't do the job he is paid for because he didn't get a job he thinks he deserved. HC material right there. Not saying that is how TR would react, but suggesting he would suck at his job because he didn't get it would lead me to believe we ultimately made the right choice by going a different direction. Just saying.

Back in the day, Polasek, Kenni Burns, and Roehl would always show up together in the local bars. Roehl was a grad assistant then, or something, and wasn't dropping much money like the other two.

I'd assume they are still on really good terms, and Polasek might not want to interfere with Roehl getting the job. If Roehl gets passed over maybe he'll go coach at Kent State for Kenni Burns, who's now the head coach.
