I think we improved over all late in the year. The D has to show up and it needs to get better each week. I hope we can go in there and roll and be able to take the show on the road next week.

USD only had 4 3rd downs in the first game and converted 2. They punted once. They scored 24 points on 38 plays.

Those are ridiculous stats. No way they can replicate that game unless our defense gets left in Fargo like we did vs UND.

I have way more confidence this week than I did last week.

Our biggest points of improvement since the first game have been pass rush, pass defense and passing game. All three things we sorely needed that game and were nowhere to be found. Add playing with heart and determination to make it a round 4 areas.

If we play our game and limit the read option bullshit I have a very good feeling about this game.
