    From what I understand this is one professor at EWU who brings this up every year and gets the ear of local media. The university has been there done that with the analysis and have no intention of changing divisions or drop football.

    These two rules should be in the bylaws of "the split". When the P4 breaks off the remaining DI schools that have either a colored field OR a track around their field have to move down a level.
