Hey, if we're talking statues, Gene Taylor should have one right beside CB. He took the chance to hire Bohl whose reputation wasn't the greatest at the time; Taylor led the program's transition into FCS when there were so many naysayers. He was the man in my book.

As much as the whole thing that went down when he left, you still have to credit him for bringing in Klieman (and indirectly Matt Entz) who all added to the dynasty. Have to respect what he built here along with GT. Not sure there is any other statues of anyone else at NDSU so not sure what the statue talk is about.

Definitely one of the godfathers of DI transition and the football dynasty along with Joe Chapman and Gene Taylor.
