It's effective but 400 is a small sample size IMO. Only unemployed or retired people answer phone calls in the day The average age in Fargo is 31, so it needs to skew younger

It needs to reflect who votes. Sounds like a job for professionals.

That really makes sense. It would ensure that only those deserving representation would get a vote, and only a single vote. Nah, it could be construed as racist.

People in their 30s vote. You're talking about kids

People in their 30s certainly can vote. I’m pretty confident they vote more frequently than people in their 20s and less frequently than people in their 50s or 60s.

Fargo has more people in their 30s and 40s than 50's and 60e. That's why Fargo is more liberal than the rest of the state, who is older

You sure about that age-political leaning association? I would bet political persuasion is more strongly influenced by education level attained these days. Was not this way in the past.

Also, there is a pretty well documented rural/urban divide in these times. And that makes a lot of sense based on themes form the book “In Defense of Eliteism” that I posted in Tony’s founding father library thread. Rural peeps trend more individualistic, self sufficient whereas urban types are more collective, group oriented.
    Don't believe everything you think.

Agree. Fargo is unique from the rest of the state because a majority of the population has Minnesota roots. Also having a bunch of colleges plays a role. Fargo also has more left leaning media

Western ND doesnt have anything to infuence them. They are bordered by eastern Montana and northern SD

Nobody votes during a stand alone election. A general election they do. But 51% of Fargo still voted to expand the dome. Who goes to concerts? Younger people. All but 1 Democrat in the state legislature are from Fargo. A majority of the city commission is left leaning. Even 65% of Fargo voted to to puff the magic dragon, and that wasn't your grandma voting yes. Statistically if you go most places in Fargo, it's people in their 30s because that's the demographic. Look around. Grand Forks is slightly younger but it's because students make up a more signifigant % of the population. They are home to the only other Democrat
