The flats are open. Slipping a te behind the second level is open. Green, Nelson, and Mathis over the top is worth an attempt a couple of times a half. I trust them on 50/50 balls. If there is running, let the backs take it for a while. 28, 22, and 8 are on scholarships to run the ball. 9 can throw, so time to start mixing it up like they did today with him but more.

Sure this defense is not like defenses in the past that is going to shut teams down but this offense can be dynamic enough to hold on to the ball for a little while at a time.

Excellent thoughts. I’d also like to see Cam and Cole on the field together on a lot of occasions. All kind of great plays and options could be drawn up for that combination. Tell Cole that he gets to be Hunter Luepke 2 for the rest of the playoffs and maybe gets some throws to boot!

    The ABCs of NDSU SPORTSMANSHIP:

    GoAmy…GoBison…GoCarson!!!

Bison proving that great play and great sportsmanship and character go hand in hand.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if someone goes into the portal are they off the team at that moment? And if so, why wouldn’t any Bison player wait until the playoffs were over?
    From the movie THE PROGRAM

Regent Chairman: This is not a football vocational school. It's an institute for higher learning.
Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a damn chemistry experiment? Why don't you stick the bow-tie up your ass?

Not really an Entz fan but not an anti Entz fan either. Question....was putting Hunter Poncious, at 6'8", for the first time this year, in for Xtra point block a meathead decision also? Or was that good coaching based on what they'd seen on tape?
