I can think of a certain anti Ndsu blogger who would choke on his dilly bar.
I like to surround myself with people who share in my inappropriate comments, sarcasm, and random shenanigans

Only 2 people will know how much a player is getting in NIL money: the player and his tax preparer. My question is who will be preparing the 1099 miscellaneous income forms and seeing that the player/players receive them.

And with the invention of online filing, really only 1 person should know unless the player tells people

Certainly don’t think you want teammates knowing how much one another is making. With dollar figures clearly coming from coaches it really shows what a coach thinks of your abilities.

If the coaches aren’t telling the players what they really think of their ability and potential already then there is a serious problem. I don’t think it’s very likely that teammates aren’t going to find out anyway. I’m not saying that we need to know but being transparent within the locker room doesn’t seem like a bad idea to me.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

NCAA talking about requiring transparency. Not sure it will help matters. Makes it easier for the big boys to poach.

They need to sculpt the system as not to alienate the donors. Otherwise it's a mute point.

I’m not sure the NCAA can put any of the worms back in the can at this point. The schools and now the players have too much power.

This will never happen, but imagine this...If the NCAA went back to a no paying players policy. Then we would find out who wants to play and who doesn't.
