Plus, if I am that FBS school, I go after the OL plus his younger brother……yikes
I was thinking Kopp but went with the safety I can’t spell.

Well if I'm an OL that would have to be a damn nice check because there is a very well established path to the next level through NDSU no?

So to be clear in my mind, any player who declares for the portal on Monday is immediately off the team right? Regardless of the result of today's game. Is that correct?

That is up to the coach but he has stated in the past that once a player enters the portal they are done being part of the team.

I agree…same with the other positions

Now, is that check 100, 250 or 500,000?
For each player, each situation is different.

The Jackrabbit TE Kraft was supposed to have turned down 100k going into last year, turned out alright for him. But now another year into NIL are FBS schools fishing with bigger bills??? Seems like it.

The offer was well into the six figures.
    From the Argus Leader article...
"Staying at South Dakota State provides better shot at NFL, Tucker Kraft says
So why did Kraft stay at SDSU? Out of loyalty, for one. And two, he’s so confident in himself and his abilities he believes the money being waved in front of him by big-school collectives will ultimately pale in comparison to what he can make in the NFL. And with Kraft well on his way to following in the footsteps of Dallas Goedert, the former Jackrabbit who recently signed a 4-year, $57 million contract with the Eagles, he knows he can do that without leaving Brookings."
