    He's from Michigan. Maybe he grew up as a huge Michigan State fan and now has a chance to play for them. Congrats for him. He's had a solid career at UND.

    Yep I think it’s a great opportunity both academically and to play in the big ten. You don’t see starting QBs transfer to be backups often.

    Even if he wasn't a Spartan fan as a child, it gives him the opportunity to play closer to home. Any ideas if a 3rd string QB would get any NIL money?

    Very good chance he's seeing at least 50-100k. A starter there would get far more.
