Montana State's defense stonewalled SDSU in the first half which is quite a contrast to how helpless they made NDSU's defense look. They use two QBs like NDSU and run them even more.

The Big Sky stats say #1 scoring offense, #2 scoring defense, #1 total offense, #3 total defense, #1 rushing offense, #4 rushing defense, #9 passing offense (yardage) but #2 in efficiency, #2 passing defense (yards) / #3 in defensive efficiency, #1 in net punting, #1 in sacks. Basically a pretty solid team all-around.

They've done a good job recruiting with NIL, increasing the budget, improving the stadium snd building an IPF and performance center in the same ballpark as our IPF. They are also bucking the trend of enrollment declines

This really is the question. So much of our run D especially up the middle has me scratching my head this year. So much over pursuit and poor gap control. Frustrating.
