The way to fix that next year is to win more games regular season.

How do you figure that? Sdsu is on the other side of the bracket. Should have been going there second round. We're going to get to feel like studs and all the problems will be solved for a few weeks now eh.

Curious, you think UND will outbid NDSU if they both make the quarters? Granted, no one knows if that even matters anymore.

I did some looking at this. Last year, UND got sent to Weber. Weber was ranked 7/10 (STATS/coaches) going into the last game of the season - and they won that last game. UND was ranked 16/23 going into the last game of the season - and they got blown out in their last game.

Like Weber last year, NDSU is the consensus best unseeded team this year. And FargoDome >>> Alerus. Not to mention that NDSU is the greatest program in FCS history.

If you believe NDSU is a top 8 team, then we got screwed on respect and seeding. Mostly that's about home games vs road games.

But yes, thankful we won't see SDSU before Frisco. We didn't get screwed on the bracket overall.

Potentially. Or perhaps none at all. But whoever NDSU plays in the quarterfinals will have already done the dirty work of eliminating one (or two) of their previous hiccups. Similarly, if SDSU stubs their too before arriving in Frisco...
