Furman is 9-2 overall and 9-1 vs. the FCS with three ranked wins, a resume good enough for a seed.

So because Furman is is “9-1 vs the FCS” they are still seeded here despite today’s embarrassing loss……

While recent games are weighted heavier, Furman is still 9-1 with multiple wins over ranked opponents. They should be seeded. They locked up the Socon AQ last week so I suspect they coasted this week. Definitely cost them but this isn't a bad team.

UND won’t be playing Drake in the first round, they played in the regular season. Other than that, yeah, I’ll take a 6 or 7 seed in a heartbeat!

We should be the 4 seed if the resume is properly evaluated.

The problem is the committee is likely to value wins and losses over SOS to a degree.
They now consider the media and coaches polls, and the NCAA SRS metric that was used to calculate SOS has been discarded.

Thinking 6 may be the best they will do. That would at least feel semi-fair.
An 8 seed would suck, but could happen also.
