Because the coach would be the one that “coaches” th player on how to handle that situation. It’s not like he muffed a punt. He stupidly decided to try to pick up a rolling oblong ball at full speed.

He is not the special teams coach and has nothing to do with price trying to field that ball and not getting it. Seriously, dont blame thing that coaches that they have no fault in. Price made the decision to try get that ball on his own. He is to blame.
