Wasn't sure before, but now I do think we missed the tidal wave of momentum that could move us up and now it's too late. There was a peak, and peaks do not last.

However, NDSU has been clearly positioning for a move up. Anyone who thinks otherwise is not paying attention. The "in the know media" have been very clear on this. However, without a conference invite, its not going to happen. Its just that simple. We can all want them to move up, but it simply was not an option.

Agree, it's two separate topics. Moving to FBS also would not have fixed any of this, if anything the implosion under Entz might have happened sooner. KC Keeler at SHSU got exposed, and Entz would also.

I lost enthusiasm after listening to Entz’s first (or one the very early ones) when he simply said on live TV “we need to get our asses going”. That interview told me he lacked the professionalism to lead this program. I’ve been calling him a meat head ever since.
