??? Totally disagree. Crockett and M Will had academic issues but both studs.

Stick was a huge recruit and Carson was a late bloomer that had a MAC offer if I remember correctly.

I said recruiting stars. As in none of them were star rated recruits by places like 24/7 etc.

They were all star players for NDSU yea.

The thing about stars is that they are based mainly on who has offered. Back in the day, getting an offer from NDSU didn't boost a recruit's star rating. Now it does.

Our defense. We just don't seem to have the swarming defense like we used to. I always counted on the coaching staff to find the adjustments and the players to execute them, especially in the second half. Sadly I am starting to dread second halfs now.

My post was in response to Chapo saying we needed to be getting all 3 stars like … and he named off 4 dudes that had no stars that are some of the best players in NDSU history.
