There is no cheer team in any sport this year. They apparently felt they didn't have adequate numbers due to the coaching debacle earlier this year. Dance Team has expanded their role for football and the last I heard they were in negotiations for other sports.

Not sure how a school of that size can't recruit enough cheerleaders so they have to call it quits for a year, but apparently that happened.

I agree - please add topics - Football.
What was the attendance today? Oct. 28th?
    Where were the students?

Except hiring Jory for WBB and that programs really good turnaround (but they were at rock bottom), I can't think of any program that's improved.

They're trying to lower the noise in the dome and rest Matt's vocals. Although he still lost his voice with that crowd.

Could not agree more. Problem is Jory won’t be here long. Which we should also be saying about the Men’s football and basketball coachs but we all know no one else wants them.

I was at the game yesterday… I looked around… it’s hard to understand how unresponsive they have been, to allow this rapid decline.

Fan day used to be packed. A mile long line to get autographs and meet the players

Now it's basically a few kids in the parking lot getting a yard sign. I mean Larson had let everything go.

    Basic concessions were open
The band never plays exhibition games
There's no cheer team at all at NDSU this year (everybody quit due to the coach getting fired, which was BS) - even if we had one they usually aren't at exhibition games either
I actually liked the lighting change, many arenas in basketball only light the floor and concession concourse areas so it's not unusual, we just haven't done it. If you're gonna try it out an exhibition is the perfect time to do so.

If you've never been to an exhibition game before I could see how you might think it wasn't a great start but it's the same every year. Crowd was actually better than most this year as well so that was encouraging.
