To me this really isn't about today specifically. If you watched the USD game it was really bad on the LOS, IMO. Things have been slowly degrading for at least 3 years. Even when winning, it's been degrading.

Fully funded schollies, cost of attendance, world class IPF, tradition, etc. There is no excuse for the quality of the team we see this year. No one has "caught up" to NDSU. NDSU fell back to where the others are. That includes SDSU. SDSU has been very good for several years now, it's just that we were as good or better. We've simply regressed.

Sometimes you just need a change.

Vigen's name starting to be mentioned for bigger jobs. He's on other teams' radar to save their program too.
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

He will be FBS bound within the next year or two. A big check for him.

If that smoke/interest is real, he's gone. A MWC payday is $1-$1.5m a year easy. 5 year contract and you're pretty set, regardless of outcome.

Eck's base salary is $300k with incentive potential to be up to $378k.
If they make any noise in the playoffs, he may be gone soon.

I only saw the last bit of that game - but, holy cow, Idaho's front 7 completely overwhelmed MSU's front at the end.
