    Bringing in talent for the short term isn't necessarily bad if you do it right. Sign a 3 year contract with high buyout so we get some cash if he's poached. Have him introduce Roehl to his circle of friends to build contacts.
    I was at a Fortune 100 company for a number of years. It was "unofficial" policy to have a mix of lifers to maintain culture and short term high flyers to shake things up. Seemed to work really well.

    That's probably the case with most anyone at this point.

    If anything, Roehl would probably stay the longest.
