Agree. Adrenaline only lasts for a few plays. Then it's all about size, strength and tecnique, like pad level or wrapping up. Or knowing what gap to fill. We couldnt even get off blocks, which is just bad athleticism

Respectfully disagree. Intensity, desire and mental toughness should continue throughout the game. Maybe relax a bit once game is completely in hand.

Do we not have the team speed to run the ball out on the edges instead of between the tackles where it's just a pile of bodies?
It's OK to not be OK.

It's evolved into a size/strength, technique, and mental problem. Fixing one could be done with a competent coach, but the trifecta will require some house cleaning.

No. Our backs also aren't great a making defenders miss (unless it's practice). Sounds like Owen Johnson was on crutches after the game, so who's next in line?
North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

What is so frustrating about this game?

UND rush yards: 39 rushes / 210 yards
NDSU rush yards: 39 rushes / 149 yards

We only made UND throw it 12 times...It is not like we had bunch of turnovers or they had bunch of passing yards. They rammed it down our DT, linebacker and safeties. We didn't do anything in 2nd half to change the outcome or atleast stop the run game that made a difference.

According to our defensive philosophy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bY_6yj6QSik - 22:08 mark)
    Number one is physicality
Number two is stop the run.

The item that is concerning is that Entz is a defensive minded head coach and his defense can't stop the run with power running teams....

If he can't get his unit good - how confident would you be that other units on the team will be good?

Listening to the presser, Entz didnt sound too concerned about the front 4 either. You got to be blind as a bat to not see we are phsically incapable of stopping the run. Doesnt matter how good the linebackers are if you cant get pressure, penetrate or get off blocks. Its like he thinks if he ignores it, it will go away. We have been exposed. I even expect WIU to copy what UND, USD and SDSU did. Drake ran the ball last year. Whose next?

I don't know to me he looked very uncomfortable through the whole presser. What do you want him to say?
