I trust the powers that be to consider their options, but there are very few NCAA women's wrestling teams. Is there even really a local base to recruit from?

It's a high school sport in North Dakota now eh.

A quick Google search says, "40 states with girls wrestling state championships recognized by a state high school executive association."

It means there will probably be multiple new and bestest FBS threads started in the next few years where Bisonville rehashes the same arguments and delusion over and over and over.

Compared to the football forum where the highest levels of creativity are reached while complaining about playcalling nonstop every year

Minot State has women's wrestling and has players on their roster largely from ND and Montana, but also from Oregon, Texas, California, Nevada and even a few from Canada. If they can do it.........

So more states sponsor girls wrestling than girls hockey. It would be kind of a middle finger to the school up north to start a women's hockey team.
