Coyotes come in Saturday at 2-1with wins over St Thomas and the javelin thrower from Revenge of the Nerds (aka Lamar).

They got beat by Mizzou, but have only given up 6 total points in their 2 wins.

This is the first time since 2019 that I am really not worried about teams with good defenses. I like the way our offense is operating and Cam appears to have taken a step forward this year. We have at least two guys (Green and Mathis) that are a problem for secondaries in addition to an underrated TE and FB that can cause problems in the air. We are much more loaded at RB than any of us probably expected with 4 capable backs as well. Oh and we have two capable dual-threat QB’s (maybe less so for Payton, but I liked what I saw last game).

They also have Todd Drummond, son of Ree and Ladd Drummond, Ree is also known as Food Network’s “The Pioneer Woman.” Todd is a true freshman QB, I believe he is 3rd-4th on the QB depth chart, but he broke all the QB records at his Oklahoma high school…
