They need to quit trying to recruit the fringe mid major/small major players. Even if NDSU gets them and they make a real impact they will lose them at some point anyways to the portal. Lower the talent, draft really good Y type players that will stick around and be successful. Denver Tenbroek was a hell of a player and that exact type.

It's not. Illinois St can offer so much more than NDSU in NIL money it isn't really a comparison.

Bison offer 6'6" wing Tyler Wagner out of Totino Grace. Looks like a really solid player, his game reminds me a bit of Taylor Braun. He's a little stronger at this point than Braun was coming in but not quite as quick, will need to work on being a little more explosive but good all around player. Also holds offers from UND, Bryant and High Point.

Easy answer, not enough big NDSU donors care about basketball.

EDIT: I have a dream of one day being able to fund NIL for Women's BBall at a high level. I think it's low hanging fruit and could catapult the program to major success.
