    heffray’s Game Notes:
    - Betting line (care of https://madduxsports.com/college-football-lines.php, thank you, TSCF!…) : NDSU -28.5, O/U 48.5
    - Questions I’m asking this week: What’s the Cole Payton game plan against Maine (I’m setting O/U pass attempts set at 2.5, whatchya got)? Will the Bison cover the 28-point spread? Will Kopp and Wisniewski continue their impressive starts to the season and lead the defense to another dominating performance?
    - I think we might struggle with the RB they have, who had an impressive game last week.
    - Feels like a trap game from a spread standpoint, so I’m gonna go with Maine to barely cover the spread, and take the under on points

Great thread starter! You have earned the GDT starter position sir! Home opener…lets go! Nice cool fall weather tailgate should be rocking! Honoring FPD officers and all first responders will be awesome! Bison will roll in this one, looking forward to seeing some Cole passes.

    Bison: 45
    Baby Bears: 10

I predict that once again, we'll get 2 games for the price of one. The first is the actual game which will be lopsided and satisfying. The other is the one on this gameday thread where it will be obvious that everything is just so very awful, obviously not living up to Bison Pride standards, all of the coaching staff should obviously be fired - ESPECIALLY TYLER FUCKING ROEHL (obviously) - and Cole should obviously be the starter for the rest of the year so that he can be the first FCS Heisman winner, obviously.
    Insert something clever here...

Bison offense will continue to improve. Defense adds some depth. Bison win 34-13.

No cheer team. Dance team filling the void.

    Thank you Heffray!
You learned well while serving your Redshirt Season.
Of course, you were highly regarded as a recruit when
you arrived in Section 2 as a True Freshman - definitely a 3 star
with multiple FBS, Service Academy and Top FCS Offers!

Anyways, I am encouraged by the Eastern Washington game.

    - Perhaps I can retire my Swinging Gate Conundrum…
Coach Entz & Coach Roehl were willing to put it on tape!

    - Using the full playbook, that is. When was the last time the Bison
threw the ball 28 times in a game that was not close???

    - Coach Petrino and the D seemed more aggressive, improved also.

    - Several players took steps forward, some may be at least All-Conference types. Cole Wisniewski especially got some headlines……btw he is a 4th year senior, having played as a True Freshman in the ‘21 Spring Season so he could certainly play again in ‘24 if he chooses……he is an amazing student so hope he wants some post-grad degrees…

Loved what I saw out of our players last week. Obviously some room for improvement as there always will be but much better than I expected.

Defense looked great, not sure we’ll find out how good they are today either though. This should be a decent test for the offense. Held FIU to ~3 YPC on rushes and -60 sack yards.

Kopp, Wisniewski, TMak, Cam (when he’s allowed to choose to run), WRs, oline, dline all looked great last weekend. Hoping they all show it again and have some others continue to step up as well. I am pleasantly surprised with where we’re at.
