Link above seems borked for me, here is the article
    https://www.inforum.com/news/fargo/f...ansion-remodel

60% margin is significant, hope this passes.

    Fixed the link.

It will need a great turnout. Hopefully Teammakers takes the lead

NDSU cant say vote yes, but they can present the information as fact and inform people about the vote

Would like to see some big social media accounts like Bison Report and https://twitter.com/BISONATION spread the word

This will never pass. Everything that I have read/listened to has led with how great this is for NDSU instead of focusing on the benefits to the city. That is a poor strategy.

To give it the best chance at passing... NDSU should be silent. Teammakers should only be promoting to NDSU alumni/fans. The media should be talking only about the benefits to Fargo.

    Agree.

The Fargodome reinagined committe isnt very good at selling a vision or painting a picture, but they have time to put together a plan

What will a 90k SF addition mean for the average person? More smaller shows or concerts? Trade shows? Pre game gsthering spots?

What about the ground level concessions for concerts, do you dont have to walk up to the concourse level to pee or grab a beer?

Will the improvements mean the dome will get better concerts that are going to Sioux Falls or the Alerus?

What will club level seating look like? Private bathrooms? Private catering?

Will it help NDSU TM revenue?

Hpw much money will naming rightd generate?

Yes, they have some time however the narrative has already been set by the NDSU media that this will be so great for Football. The narrative can be changed but it's very difficult. Dom, Kolpack and McFeeley led with the wrong thing and that will have a huge impact on the overall success.

If it doesn't pass, they will complain that the citizens of Fargo have no vision when they likely caused more harm than good.

No because the of people that watch Kolpack and Izzo are bison fans or sports fans in general. Fans of high school playoff football or state tournsment hoops should love it. Fans of USA Wrestling should love it. They just set records for everything. Same for rumble on the red

I think that they have a much larger reach than you are suggesting. Sure, they draw Bison or sports fans in general but when they lead the evening news or write articles on page 1 of the newspaper (and its website), that does have a much larger influence. Remember that the percentage of NDSU fans is actually quite small in comparison to the Fargo area. Many people want NDSU to fail or are apathetic to NDSU.

NDSU fans could win the election by themselves if TM and vote yes groups do some outreach. The dome is 1 of 3 voting locations and it's on campus. Students will still be there Dec 6th.

3 days before the election we will likely have a playoff game to inform people.

Only 15k people voted in the last primary and this is a single issue. Are people so opposed to this, they will turn out in mass? I doubt it. My biggest concern is creating some passion to support the project

I can usually get a good pulse on how people are feeling and I have a good vibe. But not a great one due to a mediocre vision by the campaign folks

This is a no brainer for me. I am voting YES!! Will the improvements benefit game days at NDSU, absolutely. But will it also benefit everything else that takes place there, again, absolutely. The revenue the dome brings to Fargo is well worth the added sales tax. I agree that communication on how its being funded, the benefits to the community, and the overall look of the remodel will have to be better and The think it t will as the vote gets closer.
