How else would you possibly gauge the quality of a team???? I mean they are all FCS so of course their schedules are the same quality right??

It has always been amazing to me how professionals that supposedly should understand the landscape of the FCS continually over hype bad teams.

Western Carolina is rated #21 by Massey and #14 by Sagarin. Those two rating systems have 9 of the same teams in the top 10 so they can't be that biased.

Thats true/fair. Guess some part of me hopes this team is improving, its kind of hard to say yet.
We did beat WIU by a bigger margin than last year, and ended up in Frisco ... so not impossible.

If we lose 2 more games, we're probably a bubble playoff team and won't be seeded. But who else would either at 7-4?
Think we'll still get a fair shake when the committee actually sits down and evaluates each team in detail.

These early previews have never been the final result, and feel a bit stupid and worthless. Its a marketing gimick.

9-2 is where we sit if we win out. That's a mid seed.

8-3 seems pretty likely. That's a seed if some back room bargaining occurs.

7-4 is a definite possibility. In that scenario we buy a home game and maybe we win, then we get funneled through Missoula, Bozeman, or Brookings in the second round.

This is not going to be a fun playoff season.

Mont St still has Idaho and Mont
Mont still has Mont St and Sac St
Idaho still has Mont St
