Dawson wrestled two good matches today. Big late TD to beat Gordon the 6 seed. He’s improved a lot. Peterson was toast in his first match down 14-1 but sucked up a great TD straight to the back pinfall. Then followed it up with a loss then a win on the backside. Mooberry fought thru a throw for an quick fall victory then wrestled ok the first period against Buchanan before getting pinning in the third. All in all a better day than I was expecting.

Same thought. I’ve been watching off and on. Barreto was the better wrestler in the final two periods in his wrestle back match. I still like his potential. All in all, the boys are wrestling pretty well today.

Totally agree on Barreto. He can qualify next year if he keeps going forward.

Petersen loses and NDSU will only have 1 automatic qualifier.

Seems unlikely they'll get anyone a wild card to NCAAs, but maybe Petersen can get one.

Wildcards were announced today and NDSU didn't get any, which wasn't a surprise.

Sax will be the lone NDSU wrestler in the NCAA tournament
