I’m far from saying he’ll turn into Sax. I’m just showing that their early years aren’t much different. If you read my earlier post about Johnson I’m concerned that he’s not getting bigger like Sax did.

Yep. I got what you were saying. Sax made the jump from RS freshman to RS sophomore year, so maybe there’s still hope for Johnson to grow into that body.

Peterson gets tossed and pinned in the first period. 8th place isn't great but he was ok overall.

Definitely needs to get better in late match wrestling and his finishing of shots is quite poor. His effort level is consistently high though

If March is healthy he could compete for a Big 12 title this year. 149 isn’t loaded. Sax is probably the 4 seed at 174 and if he catches someone in a scramble like he did Picklo yesterday you never know.
