Definitely remember “pound puppy” toys being tossed around and some pretending to shoot them out of the air. Some may have been dangled on strings from flags/sticks if recall correctly.

Someone listening to the broadcast told me Ed said, "....chicken shit MFer....." as part of his response to the bottle flying into the booth.

The animosity between Ed and the students escalated after that, so when the dog story came out it was just too easy for the student section.

Not to mention the divorce....."Ed beats his wife."

For some reason, at about this time, Schulz became a f'awker fan. I won't forget the time when the Omaha Flasher Enztion walked up to Rocky Hager in the 4th quarter and told him to ease up on the curb stomping the Bison were giving the Whioux so that the Whioux would have a better chance of making the playoffs. Meanwhile, Ed Schtizz was enlightening the tv audience of why the undies deserved the playoffs. Things were fucked up back then.
