This is about as good as you could hope for at this point. They already took an FBS game off the table when they scheduled a 2nd road game for the 2025 OOC (at The Citadel and at Tennessee St). This is a home game with no return trip with a team that won their league last year and had Montana on the ropes in Missoula in the playoffs.

Hopefully the MVFC reshuffling schedules with WIU's exit makes things better but that 2025 home slate is going to be U-G-L-Y (just like this year) if they don't since they'll have SDSU, UND, and UNI all on the road if they keep this cycle.
