The other Summit teams have much closer teams they could possibly pick up. The Dakota teams are the outliers. It is what it is. I'm sorry this affects you so much it seems to ruin your day.

Geography plays a factor as well. Fargo is far away from many places.

For perspective in Indy, I'm not much further from my sister-in-law in Orlando than I am from my sister in Fargo. And my home town (Minot) is farther than Orlando!

They could easily set up something like that in the Twin Cities but they may make less money doing that than hosting a D2 or bad D1 team.

They didn't drop that late, it was early May. We are surrounded by lower division schools that actually have capable teams. There is no excuse to have this game on the schedule. Fargo South would beat Oak Hills.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

The blame goes to the athletic department who doesn't invest in men's basketball and it shows with the crappy home OOC schedules year after year.
I thought Matt Larsen was on the way out? Any new news on that?

Does anyone know if there is a pre-game gathering for the St. Thomas game on the 25th?
I don't care how the vote ended up. They still suck and always will.
