So The Pitch wins? The plays Lakes chose were run and all...but none of them were close.

I was such a dork as a child...loved them Bison vhs recordings my dad had. Jeff Bentrim sent me an autographed photo when I was six or seven, my mom got ahold of him and asked for a pic. He sent a letter too. Happiest moment of my childhood probably.

I cant imagine being like a 35-40 year old dude learning some 6 year old in rural ND loves you and wants your autograph lol.

Anyway, I'm guessing that play was one of the loudest ever for a college football game in the Metrodome (thanks to Dom for posting it): Coach_Roehl goes 77 yards

This is also the play that I think of when people say that NDSU football was an afterthought before 2011 - that was a very good showing by Bison fans, one that I don't think any other FCS fanbase could pull off.

I'm gonna add this. Almost any of the better pitches by Bentrim were classic. He's the best option quarterback I've ever seen... including when Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska ran option football. Jeff was a highlight reel. The plays were a thing of beauty.
