1776 tackles for the Patriots: Legendary! (and for much of his career, the regular season was only 10 games long.)

El Chapo might not have been born yet when Steve Nelson played so I will give him the benefit of the doubt on that one.

He also did say the poll was FCS Bison, until he confused it D2 players Phil and Tryone, which in turn made the forum, well confusing.

    So typical.

Then why even mention Hansen and Braxton in your original post?

He made All American at two different positions.

    8 Travis Beck

    10 Ramon Humber

(John Crockett,Kyle Emannual, Grant Olson, Heagle, Radunz)

Phil Hanson & Tyrone Braxton might be #7-8 in that group, the rest of D2 has no shot on this All Star Team

    Coach Craig Bohl
The list is outstanding... but I believe that Hunter Luepke belongs somewhere. But there's not enough room for the great ones. Stacy Robinson and Jeff Bentrim belong there too. Both could have easily played for one of the top FCS Bison teams. Phil Hansen would be in the top 3 or 4... imo. He's the most successful NFL player the program has had. And then there's Steve Nelson... definitely a DI level star player.

If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.

Nelson made 3 pro bowls, Tyrone Braxton 1 pro bowl plus won 2 superbowls.
