I’m too lazy to look but it’s gotta be a raise for Obe along with the chance to get HC on your resume. Maybe they pay him a little more than Kish was getting but I can’t see it being much if they do.

Agree on the HC title on the resume, I hope he thinks that is important. Last numbers i could find was kish in 2021 base salary was 85k and after incentives got 105k and in 2019 ou asst coach got a raise to 85k.

If Obe Doesn’t take/get the job (which I’d be shocked if he didn’t) I’d have to agree with Portland that Troy Steiner should be the pick. ND native with head coaching experience at Fresno St and currently running the Gopher Wrestling Club. Then I’ll take it a step further that NDSU adds womens wrestling and his twin brother becomes the first woman’s coach.��

Just got around to listening to Willie's show where he talks about Kish to OU.

He said he has heard the staff will follow Kish to OU.

He also said he "heard rumors" Kish told the team about the OU move and encouraged them to come.

The second part sounds like pure speculation, but if true...that's some bullshit.

The other weird thing, to me at least, is that Coleman Scott was interested in the job and they hired Kish instead. If true, that is an absolutely baffling decision by the OU admin.

Nothing on who the NDSU candidates are likely to be. He did say Mark Perry was interested in the OU job, and he's one of the top guys I'd like at NDSU. Big pay difference between NDSU and OU, but it gives me a little hope.

Doesnt sound like Negrete will be heading to OU then. Honestly i dont really believe the everybody come with me rumor. Maybe im giving Kish too much credit.
