Why not add an upper deck on 3 or 4 sides of the dome? Can add 12,000 seats. Total 30K fans.

will probably cost you $25K/year in donation to just sniff the seats of such a high class elite club...

Kind of joking but not really..

I submit that they do what they should've done 10 years ago and allow people to park their rigs (but not set up) in their spots as early as Friday night for a nominal additional fee.

I'm kind of surprised that there doesn't seem to be a plan for replacing the 30yo red and blue seats though.
The red seats were from another facility down in the Twin Cities and were probably 30 years old when they were installed in the Fargodome.

Where is the other $260M for an outdoor stadium coming from plus the much-needed updates to the Fargodome? I noticed at the P!NK concert the men's room closest to our seats was converted to a women's room. At the last Bon Jovi concert in Fargo the women were coming into the men's room anyway.

Also no one is going to approve a sales tax and hospitality tax increase to build a stadium for NDSU. This is a city facility and that is why it can garner the votes it needs.

This is absolutely fantastic for the Fargodome!! Definitely needed as the dome is showing its its age. This is not just a football thing, although the benefits for gamedays will be massive! NDSU has 6, and at moat 9 days a year they use it for football. This will also benefit all the concerts, trade shows, and conventions that ate there throughout the year. Also, NDSU is having to spend exactly ZERO dollars on this. Sales tax and more importantly lodging tax will fund this along with the dome putting in 30 million. For all the complaining people have over the dome, this should be the best thing you have seen in a while, which it is.

If we moved up today we would have the 2nd lowest capacity in all of FBS. Last place would be Sam Houston State. They will eventually add on and we would be last. We don't need the extra capacity for season ticket holders, we need it for big games and visiting fans.

Again, it's a great thing for the Dome and the city of Fargo. It does nothing to advance NDSU football and only locks us into the Dome for another 50 years.
