For all those who for some reason dont like this proposed plan and want NDSU to build their own 40,000 seat stadium. Go ahead and mail your 500 million dollar check to Matt Larsen. He might even give you naming rights!

All the big tailgating schools allow overnight parking and tailgating but enforce quiet hours. It is beyond dumb that we haven't figured out how to do this. It would totally reinvigorate the tailgating experience.

Yup - that was one of the dirty little (not so) secrets of the GA tailgate line before they torpedo'd GA tailgating by relegating it to the softball complex lot. People would line up Friday evening (sometimes late afternoon) and discreetly party in their rigs all night before the lots opened up in the morning. As far as I know nobody died from alchohol poisoning, no innocent children were emotionally harmed by witnessing the depravity, etc etc.

Build a Wal-Mart at the far end of the lot. Problem solved. Maybe Judge Clarance Thomas will even show up.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

What is dumb is thinking they havent figured it out. They just wont---cant do it for various reasons.

They should level the place, build an arena like Sioux Falls has and call it a day.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

It won't pass anyway, so arguing over it doesn't matter.

Everyone here iN Fargo will think this as a direct benefit to and for NDSU because in a way its being presented that way. That alone will make people not vote for it, out of spite.

So it is what it is, a long shot, there is a huge population set on no growth, go back to 1980....instead of trying to build and attract better shows, events ect..yet those same will bitch "there is nothing to do", our sad reality.

I agree. Tough year to be piggy backing any sort of tax increase. Not a slam dunk by any means which may be a blessing. The fact they aren’t replacing bleachers tells me the thought that went into it.

What makes Fargo different then? Help us understand because to me it is just another excuse. It's no different then it was impossible to have beer at the dome until, well it was possible.
