All 10 to be honest. Need boeden and max to be what everybody thinks they will be, but especially in this era of transer portal i think you need to hit every weight as much as possible so we dont end up with another season like this one.

Every weight on this team needs help either with a quality starter or at a minimum some quality depth.
IMO here’s the weights in order of biggest need.

HWT - need help and fast. Dawson is a below avg JC transfer stop gap with nothing behind him
197 - Mooberry is young and building experience but I don’t see him ever being an NQ. Fr behind him hasn’t wrestled yet
165 - Howe is RSF but ditto on Mooberry. L. Johnson could move up next year if Greenley wins 157 from him.
125 - Negrete was a solid recruit when they got him. Major disappointment. Yesterday against MN they FF 125 when he
couldn’t go for whatever reason. Micheal Olson comes in next year. Once a top 100 recruit but dropped LY. He’s been
Wrestling up in weight quite a bit this year for better competition. Have to hope they hit on him.
133 - Beretto is another RSF whom hasnt wrestled near his potential. Might be something there but it needs to happen fast.
184 - Cherne is doing ok for being thrown to the wolves as a TF. I hope they can work in a RS for him at some point.
174 - Sax has 174 covered thru next year. He’s probably a NQ this year or next. Max Magayna is a high recruit that is
projected at 174 to take over for him.
157 - TF Greenley has beaten the starter Johnson and will probably take over for him next year. Would be a weight with
    At least some depth
149 - March is a NQ with R12 capabilities if things go right and maybe some luck. Not sure how bad he’s injured and when
he might be back. Peterson Has filled in admirably and should slot in for the next three years.
141 - Drexler has wrestled well to this point and IMO has a bright future. Could be a NQ this year and barring injury lock
Down 141 for this and the next three years

This team is flat out young and inexperienced with very little if any depth. Next year probably won’t be much different in terms of success either. Looking to see how they grow and add talent for two years from now when most of these kids are juniors.

    All accurate.

HWT needs a body and a replacement ASAP, even if Dawson has shown some fight and quickness. 197, 165, and 125 likely don't have a NQ type on the roster either.

Peterson has looked significantly improved this year, Baretto has not, but he has the tools. Between those 2 plus Greenley and Drexler, 133-157 at least have promise. I'm high on Magayna and Cherne has had moments, but like it's been mentioned, there is no depth on this team.

Personally, after yesterday's performance, I'm redshirting Cherne if he's amenable to it. Let Duda or Brenot take the year.

BiZon recruit Michael Olson took second place at 133 pounds at the prestigious MN XMas clash. He lost 3-1 in SV to Swenson an SDSU recruit in the finals. I’m starting to wonder if Olson will be at 125 in college as he’s been up in the 130’s lately.

NDSU picked up a HWT commit from Shilo Jones out of Idaho.

#17 HWT in Flo's rankings and a double Fargo AA (6th in FS, 2nd in Greco)

Found a long article on him here https://www.idahosports.com/blogs/bl...contentid=2800

Looks like a solid get at a position of need. Nice article. Thx for posting.

NDSU added another PA wrestler with the commitment of Andrew McMonagle. Two time state qualifier, in PA, probably projects at 174, and trains at M2 training center, which is run by World and Olympic champ David Taylor.

Have to imagine this is the Hidlay effect

2025 recruits, but I didn't want to start a new thread.

Manuel Saldate came back to get third at the prestigious Doc Buchanon tournament. He was a 16U Freestyle runner up this last summer and visited NDSU a couple months ago.

Gabriel Delgado lost in the quarter finals and blood round. He was a 16U Greco 4th place and visited NDSU a couple months ago as well.

Interested to see who it is.

They picked up another heavyweight recruit last week, with Schey Huff out of Virginia committing. Not familiar with him, but from the couple videos I watched he's an undersized HWT with some quickness but not a high work rate. Took 2nd in state last year at 215
