Grant Nelson's uncertainty not withstanding this is a pretty big accomplishment considering over 1500 D1 players have entered the transfer portal this spring. That's over 4 per program on average and the only player NDSU looks like they'll lose (other than Nelson - which is still not a certainty) would be Jacob Yoder and that's a move that benefits both team and player IMO.

Hopefully this isn't a mirage and they can have more offseasons like this one than the last when it comes to contributing players transferring.
    McKinney left too.

I talked with Dave about McKinney, McKinney wants to start and be the guy, obviously DWT is a better player and ahead of him so McKinney chose to move on, it was no bad blood, just an injury that allowed a player to move ahead of him.

I could see us playing pretty small.

    Wheeler
    Miller (Waddles)
    White (Dissette)
    Skunny (Hastreitor)
    Morgan (Streit backup?)
I think Hastreiter starts at the 4 if Grant is gone, we also have Feddersen coming off redshirt who can add some size and athleticism to the 4/5 rotation. Backup PG is the only real question mark outside of Grant being back or not at this point. Are we moving forward with Miller/Waddles as the guy when DWT is out or do we bring someone in.

I don't blame Dez. I predict he ends up at a MIAA school closer to home. Best of luck to him.
