This was the worst I've seen us play in a while. Morgs was very rusty in his first game action back after missing some time due to his grandmother's funeral, hopefully he'll get back in the groove quickly. DWT apparently dealing with a hip issue (according to Bison Report twitter), he started the game so must've tried to give it a go and couldn't, I saw a little slip by him early in the game and Miller came in immediately and DWT didn't play again. Yoder is in a boot and McKinney medical redshirting so we played essentially this entire game without a true PG and it showed a bit.
But this came down to 3 things, lazy defense, poor free throw shooting and missing wide open 3's. Teams are going to double Morgs and Grant in the post, everybody knows it, we have to be able to hit the open 3's, Miller seems to be the only one capable of that right now. He also got hosed on that one he made that he got called OB on. Just an ugly game, winning on the road in league play is tough no doubt (check Western Illinois @ Denver), but we played probably our worst game of basketball since the St. Thomas game and that's not ideal in February. The only bright side is we played that terribly and still had a chance to win but I don't know if we win another game if we play like that.
I don't typically follow the BB threads so apologies in advance if this has already been posted. Drone tour of the SHAC prior to UND game:
