Fundamental basketball is absolutly lacking. I have never seen so many offensive rebounds given up and a total lack of boxing out. Some of the most sad fundemental basketball ibhave ever witnessed at the collegiate level. Box out and make 70% free throws and the Bison win by 15+.

That's on the coaches, and needs a lot of work. We have athletes that have enough size and shooting skills.
With better coaching, NDSU should be the #2 team in this league.

The real challenge will be closing the gap with ORU. That could take a few years.

The gap with ORU will close next year if everybody stays for us. Abmas, Vanover, Jurgens, Weaver, and Thompson are all seniors. I'm sure they'll hit the portal to try to fill some spots but McBride, Phipps and Mwamba would be their only returning guys that contribute now and then they'll all be seniors.
