Yeah I can’t think of any reason why he’d come back… he’ll get better exposure, competition, money, an opportunity to improve his draft status at a perennial powerhouse than at NDSU. As much as I’d love to see him stay, it’s way better for him to go elsewhere…

Here is an example of a player who improved his NBA chances by transferring from a P6 school to a lower level. He found the opportunity/role he was looking for by doing so.

Brandin Podziemski - transferred from Illinois to Santa Clara.
This could be Santa Clara’s 2nd year in a row with a 1st round draft pick.
Jalen Williams was selected 12th overall, 1st round by Oklahoma City last year.

Nelson to Kentucky might be a slamdunk if he opts out of NBA draft sorry bruin. way too much steam for grant.

And if he does, picking the right system/opportunity is important.
